Early Childhood Educator Job in Calgary, Alberta

Thornhill Child Care Society is hiring a full time Program Director for our Out of School Care program located in the community of Panorama Hills in the Buffalo Rubbing Stone School. This is an excellent position for someone wanting to enter into a Leadership position. * Candidates must posses an Early Childhood Education Diploma or Degree in Elementary Education * Candidates must have the ability to work in a team environment that is diverse and supports a diverse group of children and families *Experience and knowledge of Child Care Licensing *Experience and knowledge of Alberta Accreditation of Early Learning and Child Care * Answering to the Director of Operations, potential candidates must have a CDS (Level 3) Certification * 3-5 years of child care experience and or experience with school aged children. * Former leadership responsibilities is an expectation * Other requirements include a current (less than 6 months old) Criminal Background Check and First Aid in Child Care or the ability to provide those.
