Early Childhood Educator Job in Calgary, Alberta

Our Not-for-Profit Child Care organization is hiring a full time Program Director for our center located in South West Calgary. The ideal candidate must have previous Leadership experience in administration and management, a comprehensive understanding of current licensing regulations, the Alberta Accreditation process, as well as the ability to lead a team while inspiring them. Strong communication skills, excellent critical thinking, and the ability to problem solve in a busy environment are a must. Answering to the Director of Operations, the Program Director will be responsible for the day to day operations of the center and will also engage in creating and fostering relationships with Community Stakeholders, fellow Management team members and create strong professional relationships with Educators, children and families. Qualifications: Candidates MUST have a Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education as well as previous leadership experience.Candidates MUST be Certified by Alberta Staff Qualification as a CDS (level 3), have current First Aid in Child Care (or be willing to obtain) and a Criminal Background Check, including the Vulnerable Sector Search. (Current within 6 months)
