Early Childhood Educator Job in Calgary, Alberta

Thornhill Child Care Society is currently recruiting experienced Early Childhood Educators for our South locations. These locations include the following: 1. Lumino Center-located within walking distance to the Chinook C-Train. They have 1 opening for a strong, experienced level 2 or 3 2. Haysboro Center-located within walking distance to the Heritage C-Train. 1 position, for approximately 30 hours a week. Must hold a level 2 or 3 certification. 3. Ogden Center-located in the neighborhood of Ogden in the brand new HUB 29 Mustard Seed Builiding. 2 full time positions. Must hold a level 2 or 3 certification. Our North locations (North central and Bowness) are looking for a Center wide float. This position supports both centers by working at 1 center for 1 week, and the other center the following week. The position does depend on reliable transportation and flexibility with shifts. The center provides child care for children aged 12 months through to 6 years of age. Candidates must posses a fundamental understanding of Emergent Curriculum and have the ability to work in a team environment. The center is looking for Educators who are passionate about Emergent Curriculum (FLIGHT), enjoy learning about new techniques in supporting inclusion and enjoy working closely with a team of other passionate Educators. Candidates need to be qualified with a Level 2 or 3 Certification, specifically with education in Early Childhood Development and Early Learning. Child care experience in an inclusive environment is an assest. A monthly salary equal to approximately $19-$21 per hour depending on level and years of experience for compensation and does not include monthly Government Top Up.
