I will be a certified BC teacher in August, though I completed my post-graduate degree in education in the UK. I have worked as a nanny, as well as a volunteer in a reading intervention programme. One of the children I was a nanny for had Aspergers Syndrome.

At my previous employment I worked as a youth care worker. the youth ranged from 6-19 years of age. I have also run a kids sports program where the youth ranged from 5-11 years of age. As a youth care work half of my clientele were kids with special needs ( autisms, down syndrome, and fasd).

11 years of experience, summer camps, outdoor centre and after school programs as program staff and supervisory staff 1:1 experience with two individuals, one 13 years old with Down Syndrome and one 12 years old with Autism. Also acted as Integration Coordinator to oversee a special needs program

Three Practicums with school aged children grades K-6 . \r\nI have tutored Grades 5-8 as well as highschool grades. I have encountered Autism designated children as well as Behavioral students.
