I used to work on 3 classrooms of grade 1. Approximately 65 students in daily basis. I taught English and Math, read them stories. Working with children is stressful yet rewarding, just to see them happy and succeed. I had ADD and ADHD student. They are both hyper active and have trouble following directions, making eye contact and make friends.

It was such a fun and exciting day at work, teaching children and knowing they have learnt something new everyday . My experience with special needs children has been fun and very different,I love it I try to understand, observe, be very consistent, positive, and most of all interact.

My experience stems at my childhood, being the eldest of five siblings has definitely been an advantage for me when it comes to working with children. I have skills in ABA training and I have been placed in home, daycare, and school environments. I was an Autism Tutor with St. Amant; working with children one-on-one and with their families and guardians.

almost 15 years working in daycares caring for children of all ages, also ran the toddler program with 4 2 year olds on my own for awhile. Also have 2 children of my own and many years of babysitting/nannying under my belt. I have worked with children who have physical disabilities, as well as children with behaviour issues and autism/adhd.
