Early Childhood Educator Job in Thornhill, Ontario

The Thornhill Woods Daycare believes that children, families and educators are competent, curious, rich in potential and capable of complex thinking. We are committed to a high quality of early learning and care that is inclusive of all families and offer child care to children aged 6 weeks to 4 years. We currently require RECE Teachers for Toddler and Jr. Preschool. We are located in Thornhill. The individual must be able to work from 9:00 - to 4:00 Monday to Friday with optional extra hours available. All applicants must provide: * A Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) dated within the last 6 months of hire, original presented and a photocopy to be retained by YCD. * Proof of 2 step T.B. skin tests or one 2 step T.B. skin test plus a chest x-ray * Proof of Tetanus immunization * Valid Standard First Aid & CPR-C (Infant & Child) Certificate * If applicable, proof of Early Childhood Education Diploma or alternative approved qualifications (original certificates must be presented) and proof of good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators.
