Early Childhood Educator Job in Woodbridge, Ontario

We are currently accepting applications for an Early Childhood Educator and Site Supervisor. We are looking to fill these positions as soon as possible. Our schools have a strong reputation in the community and are licensed for kindergarten and school-age children. We are looking for positive, professional, skilled, and committed team players to join our team. The successful candidate will enjoy working with children and teaching them through age appropriate, meaningful programming, and experiences. The successful candidate is warm and nurturing, is a good communicator, self-starter, is proficient in both written and verbal English skills and is punctual and organized, The Supervisor position is approximately 25-27 hours per week . Both the Supervisor and RECE positions are for split shift hours in our Before and After School Programs. We also have an opening for a Full-time RECE in our Toddler room. We are looking to fill all of these vacancies as soon as possible for a January 2018 start. Qualifications Registration in good standing with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience as an RECE, with Kindergarten and School Age children and a minimum of 2 years experience as a Supervisor Proven leadership abilities with strong classroom management, program planning, and collaboration skills Knowledge and Implementation of How Does Learning Happen? Knowledge and experience supporting children with special needs Current criminal reference check, immunization record and TB test Valid Level C CPR & first aid certification Flexible and energetic approach to work Positive and sensitive attitude towards children and colleagues Knowledge of the Ministry of Education's licensing requirements Daily access to a vehicle and a valid driver's license is an asset Successful candidates will require a new criminal reference check and two step TB test.
