Early Childhood Educator Job in Ottawa, Ontario

Seeking an experienced Registered Early Childhood Educator to begin work immediately at our children's play and development centre. The ideal candidate must be available to work between the hours of 7.30am and 6.00pm, Monday through Friday for approximately 35 hours per week. The successful candidate must be a nourishing, mature and responsible individual with an outgoing, friendly personality. The ideal candidate should be flexible, apply common sense principles and demonstrate a strong work ethic. Knowledge and experience of How Does Learning Happen is required. Familiarity with relevant policies and procedures in keeping with Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA) is essential. The successful applicant must hold the following valid certifications:- RECE Valid Police Record Check for the Vulnerable Sector Valid Standard First Aid and CPR certificate Up to date immunization record Our facility offers a variety of services, both licensed Nursery School and Before/After School Programs, as well as Recreational Programs. The successful applicant will provide a warm, caring fun-based learning environment to encourage feelings of security and happiness whilst promoting independence for the holistic development of each child. S/he will also demonstrate confidence in building good relationships with clients and parents through clear communication. We are excited to be including a new member of staff in our team!
