Early Childhood Educator Job in Ottawa, Ontario

We are a small Montessori school that is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic and positive early childhood educator (ECE) to join our program. Individuals must be willing to learn and contribute positively to our Montessori environment. The position is full-time in either our TODDLER classroom. The candidate is expected to work directly with the children and therefore will be on their feet the majority of the day. The requirements for the job are: - Registered ECE certified (with the College of Early Childhood Educators) / non-RECE with childcare experience will also be considered - Childcare experience (working directly with children) - CPR Level C and Standard First Aid certified - Negative vulnerable sector check - Contribute to multiple duties (e.g., activity prep, food prep, daily reporting, child supervision, cleaning / disinfecting) - Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position - Bilingual (French & English) (asset) - Montessori experience (asset)
