We are looking for a registered early childhood professional who is energetic and passionate about quality childcare. Position Summary: Withrow CC is looking for a creative RECE to implement a School Age Program (15 children). This a split shift position the hours of work will be from 8:00-9:30 and 11:30-6:.... The RECE will, with direction from the Director, implement a stimulating, and safe environment, ensuring that all licensing requirements are followed. Candidates must provide: • ECE diploma or Degree or equivalent as recognized by the AECEO, • Satisfactory Police Reference Check • Must be a member of the College of Early Childhood Educators • Able to program creatively in a play based environment which is supportive of children and their families • Strong understanding and experience implementing Emergent Curriculum, Elect Framework and/or the Full Day Early Learning Kindergarten Curriculum. • Understanding of all legislation and standards, including CCEYA ’ Services Early Learning and Care Assessment for Quality Improvement • Ability to be flexible, to show initiative and work independently adhering to centre policies • Attend meetings as required • Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on teamwork • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written • A strong work ethic • Up to date Standard First Aid and CPR certification • Up to date immunization record • Ability to use frequent light to medium physical effort: lifting up to 20kg (44lbs.), bending and stooping If you are interested in joining our team please forward a cover letter and resume to ...@gmail.com No telephone enquiries please.
