Early Childhood Educator Job in Sherwood Park, Alberta

Mindful Moments is located in Sherwood Park, Alberta. We run a part time preschool (4 classes) and before/after school care program. Our program is unique in that it has 2800 square feet of space for the kids to learn, create and be inspired. We have an art room, play room and gym. Our programs run year round outside of stat holidays and a two week break over Christmas. During the summer months it is only the school aged children in attendance. Our school age program is accredited. We are looking for a committed team member that is able to plan a strong, educational and fun program for the children. This would include weekly planning, documentation, changing the environment regularly to inspire play and teaching arts, music, movement and gym to the children (alongside our other full time team member). Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 in Early Childhood First Aid Clear Criminal Record Check 2 Years of Experience in Child Care within Canada Strong English skills (both reading and writing) Strong Organization Skills,Communication Skills & Curriculum Planning Skills
