Early Childhood Educator Job in Sherwood Park, Alberta

Mindful Moments is a preschool and before/after school care located in Sherwood Park, Alberta. Our program is unique in that it has 5000 square feet of space for the kids to learn, create and be inspired. We have an art room, music room, glow room, multiple play rooms and gym. Our programs run year round outside of stat holidays and a two week break over Christmas. We are looking for a committed team member with high ethics that is able to plan a strong, educational, Reggio based program for children between the ages of 2½ - 4 and 5 - 12. The teacher we are seeking will possess the following: Level 3 in Early Childhood (Level 2 will also be considered with the right experience) First Aid (you can obtain upon hire) Clear Criminal Record Check (you can obtain upon hire) 5 Years of Experience Working in a Canadian Preschool Strong English skills (both reading and writing) Strong Organization Skills,Communication Skills & Curriculum Planning Skills Passion for Working with Children and Willingness to Attend Regular Trainings Understanding of, or a Strong Interest to Learn Reggio and Montessori Theory Familiar with the Alberta Childcare Curriculum Framework (an asset) What we offer: Starting wage of $20.00 - ... per hour depending on education and experience.
