Early Childhood Educator Job in Ajax, Ontario

Kinderbrook Montessori, Ajax, is looking for a teacher to join the ‘Kinderbrook’ team. This full-time position is available for February, 2023. The ideal candidate must: - Believe that the child will show true nature through working with the materials. - Have the ability to follow the child - Commit to preparing and maintaining the environment in perfect order - Have patience and humility Qualifications . Experience working with both Montessori and Play based Curriculum preferred. · Previous Classroom Teaching experience is an asset. · Must have sound knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint · Ability to explore and use social media platforms for marketing and advertisement is an asset. · Valid Standard First Aid & CPR Level “C” · Police Check and Vulnerable Sector Screen within the past 6 months. · 2-Step TB test · Food Handling Certification is an asset · Demonstrated solid knowledge of the CCEYA and affiliated regulations · Superior interpersonal skills with a high degree of initiative and dedication · A committed team player who provides a supportive work environment for staff while providing a high quality of programming standards for children. Schedule: Monday to Friday Job Types: Full-time, Permanent. Salary: $18 - $22 per hour plus Commission, Benefits.
