For 2 years I taught swimming lessons to children of a variety of ages. In addition, I coached a volleyball team and I worked as a cabin leader at a summer camp. In addition, I babysat children for 8 years and I tutored children. I have taught swimming lessons to children with a variety of special needs.

I am a current student in a BED program. I have worked with kids from a young age, taught different sports and enjoyed all of my time. I have experienced children with many attachment disorders, as well as Downs\\\' in the classroom setting

I've always had a passion for children, i love seeing their smiles and watching them learn and grow. I like how i have to pay close attention to these young children who need the extra attention, again their smiles are number one.

I have worked as a Nanny and Early Childcare Assistant within Schools, home-based programs and daycares. I have worked as a Special Education Assistant and Child Development Specialist in School\\\\\\\'s and home based programs. I have Disability Studies experience as well as a Child Psychology Diploma.

I have gained experience with children throughout my program, we were in the daycare every week making observations and implementing age appropriate games that fostered learning and development. I also worked with children in a summer camp, and a youth worker for the last two years. I don't have much experience working with special needs.

I volunteered at a birthing centre and helped sanitize the rooms for deliveries. I acted as a doula for my friend when she had her first child in August 2014. I have 2 nephews and 1 niece all under the age of 5 that I enjoy spending time with when I am not away at school. My nephew was just diagnosed with autism. I am still learning how to interact better with him.
