I have been an Early Chiold hood educator for 5 years , a Girl Guide Leader for 10 years , a parent for 27 years and a grandparent for almost 2 years. I have worked in a centre with a higher than average number of children requiring extra support, this is what led to my enrolling in the Aboriginal Support Worker Program.

I am gentle in nature and easily build relationships with children at work. I intend to help them feel comfortable in their learning environment. I do not have training in this area but have experience in working with children who have extra needs.

I have recently received my ECE license to practice, so my experience with children is my practicum and raising my own children.

I have worked for several years with children from infancy to school age in child care setting facilities.
