I have 10 years working with children that range in various ages and come from various family dynamics, i.e. foster care. I have worked in my jobs where I have cared for or worked with children that have the following disabilities: Autism, FASD, Mental Health, Eating Disorder, Behavioural Disorders, ADD/ADHD, Speech Impediments, and Physical disabilities.

It was such a fun and exciting day at work, teaching children and knowing they have learnt something new everyday . My experience with special needs children has been fun and very different,I love it I try to understand, observe, be very consistent, positive, and most of all interact.

I took two children care classes at Technical Vocational High School where I worked with Infants, and toddlers. I have 5 children in my family I care for usually a couple times per week. They range from ages 2 months to five years.I also have just completed a family studies course through Springfield Adult Learning Center.
