Great oppurtunity to learn with different children. Some have special needs, some were typically developed, so I got the hang of both. I have had many placements working with children who have special needs. It was a challenge for me, however, I got through it.

I taught in a private school for 3 years (Grades 1-3). I also have tutoring and teaching experience with students from JK - Grade 6. Some of my students had Special Needs (including Autism and ADHD). I\'ve also worked with students with behavioral difficulties.

I have done placements with children from infants to school age for the last three years. I am currently doing my placement with aboriginal children grades 2-5. I have taught children with special needs only within the classroom. I have experienced working with children with autism and learning disabilities.

I have worked in camps as a counsellor, lifeguard, head staff and in charge of specialities for the past six years. I have also been teaching swimming lessons during that time.
