I ran my own home daycare for 15 years caring for children 6m - 5. Years. I have volunteered countless hours at my children's chool in their Kindergarten classroom. My experience with children is that they are all very different, therefore they all need to be taught differently. You need to have materials out for the children that are different daily so they can explore as they learn.

I have worked as a Student Teacher Volunteer in a grade 1 and 2 classroom, where I would work with children in groups and one on one. I planned lessons and activities. I worked with a student who had ADHD and him and I got along very well as I was able to understand him and work according to his needs.
