I have always had a passion to work with children as their simple approach to everyday life inspires me. I have had the privilege to have had experience with children of all ages over the years, however, I am currently enrolled in the ECE program at a local College in Nanaimo, BC to continue my education in child care.

I have worked with childern for over 17 years. All age groups. Most resently 3-5 as manager for a 38 child infant toddler/ 3-5 center. I worked 4 years in total and 2 years as manager. I have experience from children through babysitting, volunteerings and different jobs over the years. I have worked at camp sunsation and volunteers for just for kicks.

I volunteered at a birthing centre and helped sanitize the rooms for deliveries. I acted as a doula for my friend when she had her first child in August 2014. I have 2 nephews and 1 niece all under the age of 5 that I enjoy spending time with when I am not away at school. My nephew was just diagnosed with autism. I am still learning how to interact better with him.
