Early Childhood Educators in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada who have experience with newborn including private school

I have worked as a Nanny and Early Childcare Assistant within Schools, home-based programs and daycares. I have worked as a Special Education Assistant and Child Development Specialist in School\\\\\\\'s and home based programs. I have Disability Studies experience as well as a Child Psychology Diploma.

I have over 13 years in the education field working with students in Kindergarten through 6th Grade. In addition to caring for my own child, I have also worked as a care giver for over ten years. As a teacher, I have worked with students with a number of learning disabilities and often spent time working in Life Skills classes with severe physical and cognitive disabilities

I volunteered at a birthing centre and helped sanitize the rooms for deliveries. I acted as a doula for my friend when she had her first child in August 2014. I have 2 nephews and 1 niece all under the age of 5 that I enjoy spending time with when I am not away at school. My nephew was just diagnosed with autism. I am still learning how to interact better with him.

I was the owner operator of my own licensed daycare facility and am a qualified special education assistant. I am a qualified Special Education Assistant and worked in the Surrey School district with children of all ages with varying special needs.
