Early Childhood Educators in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada including maintenance

I have always had a passion to work with children as their simple approach to everyday life inspires me. I have had the privilege to have had experience with children of all ages over the years, however, I am currently enrolled in the ECE program at a local College in Nanaimo, BC to continue my education in child care.

Children attend kindergarten between ages 3–6/7 (they go to school in the year in which they have their 7th birthday). I volunteered at a birthing centre and helped sanitize the rooms for deliveries. I acted as a doula for my friend when she had her first child in August 2014. I have 2 nephews and 1 niece all under the age of 5 that I enjoy spending time with when I am not away at school. My nephew was just diagnosed with autism. I am still learning how to interact better with him.
