I have always had a passion to work with children as their simple approach to everyday life inspires me. I have had the privilege to have had experience with children of all ages over the years, however, I am currently enrolled in the ECE program at a local College in Nanaimo, BC to continue my education in child care.

I am a BC certified teacher. I am currently working part time in a French Immersion Childcare Preschool. I have raised 2 children. I have a 5 year old and a 1 year old grandchild. I volunteered in my children's elementary schools for 7 years. I have taken some workshops in ASD. I have a friend with a special needs child.

For 2 years I taught swimming lessons to children of a variety of ages. In addition, I coached a volleyball team and I worked as a cabin leader at a summer camp.
