I am a BC certified teacher. I am currently working part time in a French Immersion Childcare Preschool. I have raised 2 children. I have a 5 year old and a 1 year old grandchild. I volunteered in my children's elementary schools for 7 years. I have taken some workshops in ASD. I have a friend with a special needs child.

I volunteered at a birthing centre and helped sanitize the rooms for deliveries. I acted as a doula for my friend when she had her first child in August 2014. I have 2 nephews and 1 niece all under the age of 5 that I enjoy spending time with when I am not away at school. My nephew was just diagnosed with autism. I am still learning how to interact better with him.
