Early Childhood Educator Job in Oakville, Ontario

Looking for a flexible, friendly team player to help make all of our programs the best that they can be. Often in a busy day here at the Chartwell House, administrative duties, ministry requirements, curriculum developments, and special events can start piling up and take a back seat to the care of our children, and the implementation of our program. We are hoping to create a position that provides the support needed to all three of our program areas; Toddlers, Preschool and Kinders to ensure our educators are supported and that the program is always developing and creating new exciting opportunities for our little learners. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with all age groups and jumping in where needed. This will can change daily. Our ideal educator will have a strong understanding of developmentally appropriate programming, with options for accommodations to encourage skill mastery and challenge different skill levels. They will have strong communication and problem solving skills. Will confidently interact and forge relationships with parents, staff and students. From time to tome the ideal candidate will be able to support the office in administrative duties and be comfortable using word/excel and ensuring all required documentation is accurate and up to date. However, we are looking for an individual who likes to be present in our programs either participating directly with the children or offering assistance to the room educators to improve room set ups, organization, bulletin board displays etc. If this challenging new position sounds interesting to you and your are a RECE with a valid level C first Aid CPR, TB screen and criminal reference check please send us your resume!
