Early Childhood Educator in Woodbridge, Ontario

I have recently obtained my Certificate of Teaching in Ontario and am qualified to teach in the Primary Junior divisions. I have worked in various schools across Toronto working closely with students and colleagues delivering the Ontario curriculum and promoting student success. I have also recently worked at a Private School as a classroom teacher teaching a Grade 1/2 class. As a current Educational Assistant with the Toronto Catholic District School Board I have had the privilege of working in a variety of schools working closely with students with special needs. Specifically, I have worked one on one with the students and/or students promoting their learning through the means that best fits their needs. While working with these students I strive to promote their self-confidence and autonomy through positive reinforcement and awareness of their needs—both emotionally and physically—and triggers.
