My well rounded skills make me an excellent candidate to join your company because I have enthusiasm working with children, have strong communication skills, writing skills, supportive skills, and good recognition background of attentive behavior. I currently have a police clearance and CPR/first aid if needed upon request. From my experience working with children is the importance to having a solid knowledge of the needs of the individual children and being able to advocate based on children’s needs for each child is unique. Given the opportunity this position will enhanced my current knowledge and skills working with children. When I volunteered at the Calgary Public Library for the Read With Me Program, I did a one on one tutor for a grade 4 student and teach other aspect of English curriculum such as reading, comprehension, communication, and listening skills. When I worked for the Kumon Learning Centre as a Support Personnel, I provided student assistance through giving instructional guidance, materials, and correcting test sheets.
