Early Childhood Educator in Scarborough, Ontario

I have been working with children since i was 18, Ive worked in several different jobs trying to affect positive change in the communities Ive lived in. Currently I am an RECE working in a daycare setting. I set up the classroom environment everyday so that the children feel invited into the room, and both plan and implement engaging curriculum created from their interests and cues. I believe my work with children to a reciprocal learning process that continues to both challenge and inspire me daily. Ive worked along side with a resource consultant to create individual program plans for children who needed to strengthen developmental skills, and to try and improve learning environments such as the classroom so that they can be successful and fully able to independently use tools/toys to the best of their ability. I love being able to make a difference in children's lives and strive to do my part each and every day.
