Early Childhood Educator in Montreal, Quebec

I have worked in a daycare setting. I have a CYW college degree (child & youth worker); a university certificate in Family Life and a BA in Human Relations (major). I have completed several placements/stages in various social settings. I had a placement in an elementary school and worked with special needs children. I had another placement at Ogdensburg Psychiatric Hospital for children which is a high-risk hospital. I helped facilitate group activities. As mentioned previously, I had a placement at an elementary school. I helped the children with their homework, school projects/presentations and taught social skills. My son has a speech language delay. My son has received services from a speech therapist and I participated in these learning/teaching sessions. I have learned how to teach, promote and stimulate language development. I learned how to adapt my approach and took part in various workshops geared to parents.
