Early Childhood Educator in Montreal, Quebec

Hi, my name is Steve, I am a 39 year old Canadian, who has recently been babysitting my neighbours 5 year old little girl while I am unemployed and looking for a job. Her delightful mischief and creativity has caused me to realize I would rather spend 8 hours a day thinking like a 5 year old, and guiding children's creative ambitions towards greater goals, than doing the labour type work I am used to. It feels like I am contributing to the future of art. I am a bit rough around the edges, but around kids I relax and become more playful. I keep a keen eye on them, to keep them out of trouble and feel best when they are safe and content. I am a life long artist (Painting, drawing, wood carving, and digital media); so have plenty to teach the kids, and love seeing the work they produce as serious little artists. I don't mind cleaning up their mess afterwards, as that is part of the experimental process they go through to achieve their results and learn. If anything, the more mess the better the art lesson has gone.
