Early Childhood Educator in Vancouver, British Columbia

• Born and raised in France, I moved to England for a few years before moving to Vancouver in 2010. I then moved back to France for 6 months before coming back to settle in Vancouver in February 2012. • Being the 6th out of 11 children, looking after kids is quite natural for me. From changing diapers to helping with their homework, I was exposed to childcaring very early in my life. • My father was a General in the French army and my mother was a French/Latin/Greek teacher. This background taught me values that I now pass along to the kids I work with: politeness, respect, honesty, tidiness, importance of success at school. • I don’t believe in turning TV/Phones/Tablets on as being a way to keep kids busy. Instead I always find activities that will improve their imagination/curiosity/knowledge/physical condition. • I practiced many sports in my childhood: swimming, tennis, soccer, judo, orienteering, rugby, rifle shooting, horseback riding, badminton, rock climbing.
