Working with children is my passion as helping develop the minds that will be tomorrow's leaders provides a sense of great accomplishment. Some of my experiences include the following: • Designed open-ended sensory experiences for children of different age groups • Proven ability to incorporate ELECT and How Does Leaning Happen methods in play • Built sensory bags and bottles for infants to enjoy while developing their domains • Acted out stories during circle time to help children learn and appreciate books • Guided children to follow daily schedules using positive encouragement • Demonstrated sensitivity and understanding when addressing children’s behavior • Planned weekly activity schedules based on children’s interests • Communicate positively with families on their children’s development to understand expectations and concerns so that I can help them feel secure • Build relationships with individual children to earn their confidence and to know their interests so that I can help them develop skills through their interest • Teach children numbers, alphabets, animal names and other things through their senses using songs, rhymes and sounds • Introduce children to age appropriate science through a variety of experiences
