Early Childhood Educator in Calgary, Alberta

I am a level 2 looking for a career in child care. I worked for the school system for 5 years as a special needs assistant, i also taught and ran a preschool for 7 years. I did some licencing and subsidy. I also put out a monthly news letter and took the children on several field trips. I also made a graduation for the preschool with caps and gowns and a slide show as they walked down the isle to except their diplomas. I am currently working in a daycare with children that are 12 to 19 months. I have been working with children for 25 years and find it very rewarding. i have worked with all ages of children and enjoyed every age. I have recently been in an assistant director role for the last few months and have learned a lot. I do all my planning at the daycare and i am supervisor of my room i have a great relationship with my children at the daycare.
