Early Childhood Educator in Toronto, Ontario

I have had many experience working with children from ages 6 and up. I have experince working in a variety of settings such as schools, camps, after school programs, and drop in programs. In all of these settings I assisted staff in the development of programing and assisted in facilitating activities. I would actively engage with the children during activities, I would engage in building relationships with the children, and I also guided many disscussions on social topics with the children. I would also assist in any set up for programing. I would also keep work environments clean and safe from hazards. I have not had much experience working with children with special needs. I have had a very brief experience working with children at a boys and girls club who were diagnosed with autism and learning disabilities. I worked with the children in a program that helped them with homework and social skills. I assisted the facilitator with activities and provided one on one support with homework and when participating in activities.
