Early Childhood Educator in Toronto, Ontario

I started my teaching career in Korea and then in Canada. I’m passionate in my commitment to four things: maximizing individual student development, implementing creative programs, being aware of children’s safety, and collaboration of staff as a team. My qualifications include 15 years of teaching experience, Bachelor’s degree, teaching certificate from Korea, and an ECE diploma (with honors) from George Brown. I’m currently a professional educator that organizes the Before/After School Age Program dedicated towards preschool and kindergarten groups at Hawthorne on Essex Daycare. The following are highlights of my skills and accomplishments: Presently working as a RECE for Before and After School Programs for 10 years Planning age-appropriate emergent programs based on children's interest 5 years of experience with TDSB staff as a lunch supervisor, providing social, emotional support. Beyond my teaching experience and classroom management skills, I believe my enthusiasm makes me a perfect fit to work as a teacher.
