Early Childhood Educator in Scarborough, Ontario

I have worked in a grade 1 and Kindergarten class along side a teacher. Working with behavioral children. Developmenting programs to help minimize behavior. Working on stopping bullying by doing activities. Working one on one with students that needed extra help with class work, such as spelling skills. Creating art activities to do with students, related to developing social skills and also topics related to what they were learning. For example, art activities surrounding patterns and shapes. I have worked with ECEs and CYWs with children with autism, down syndrome, and RETTS. We worked on teaching them multiple life skills and hygiene care. As well as working on motorskills, such as learning how to use scissors, applying pressure with various art activities.
