Early Childhood Educator in Brampton, Ontario

I worked with the YMCA for about a year. I did the before and after school program, where i was working with Schoolage. I usually did cover for anyone if needed in any of the other rooms (Toddlers & Preschool). Some accomplishments I had as a Early Childhood Assistant were: Interacting with the children & encourage their involvement in all activities. • Provide a warm, safe and caring environment that is kept orderly, clean & appealing. • Assist in the preparation & follow-through of daily activities (indoor/outdoor) as they relate to the curriculum • Assist in maintaining the daily attendance records. • Assist in maintaining ongoing developmental records for each child. \r\n• Attend all Early Childhood staff meetings. • Effectively interact and relate to children in a developmentally appropriate manner. • Sensitive to individual children’s differences and needs, and be willing to adjust the program & curriculum to meet those individual needs
