Throughout my life, ive encountered several experiences with children. From babysitting to working in centers and classroom settings. The following are some things I did while working in a center and classroom setting; Organized developmentally appropriate activities for a variety of children. Created activities that could address the childrens developmental needs. Implemented activities based on the assigned curriculum. Mentored and trained supply staff and students. Interacted with children, parents, caregivers, and staff. Took on roles of being a leader in a classroom team in transitioning an entire classroom layout and routine, to maintain structure within the program. I really enjoyed my experience working with Children with special needs. Some of the things i would do are the following; Provided tutoring and assistance for students with learning disabilities. Assisted students with developmental and behavioral disabilities. Implemented behavior management strategies for students with behavior disorders.
