I have cared, supervised, observed and provided learning experiences for infants, preschoolers and kindergarten age children, addressing all areas of development. I have implemented an emergent curriculum based on the needs and interests of children. Also, I have assisted children with routines and transitions, working collaboratively with staff members as part of an effective team. In my experience in the OEYC, I have been able to observe and provide sensory stimulating learning experiences for children with mild developmental needs such as speech and language problems, fine and gross motor, and autism. The workshops in Preschoolers Speech and Language and Adapt a Toy so Anyone can Belong, has helped me put into the practice what I have learned in these training sessions to help the children in this program.
