Early Childhood Educator in Ottawa, Ontario

Aside from having 3 children of my own, I have run an at-home daycare for over 7 years, caring for children aged 9 months to 13 years old. I was also a science teacher at a charter school for a year, teaching grades 5-9. I volunteered in special needs classroom through high school and university. As a teacher in a charter school, many of the children enrolled were categorized at learning and/or behavioural disabled. I have had some special needs children in my care while they were awaiting a specialized care placement.
