Early Childhood Educator in Edmonton, Alberta

Dear Employer, I am a Level 1 Childcare Assistant in search of a full time position in childcare. I have recently updated my Child First Aid certificate and can provide a clean police security check. I have an abundance of experience with children of all ages, particularly infants and preschool aged children, and am a quick learner! My passion for this field is immense, and this shows through my positive and memorable interactions with the children, parents, and coworkers. My drive to continually learn about this field in order to provide the best childcare and education possible is what makes me a great teacher! I am interested in moving up in responsibility and achieve my Level 3 Childcare Supervisor one day, as I believe I make a strong team leader and have high goals for my future in childcare. I am dedicated to whatever is best for the welfare and benefit of each of the children I care for, and put them as a first priority in every situation. Considering how my interactions and practices will affect the children in the future, instead of what will just get us through the day, is what makes a lasting impact on the children I teach. The passion I have for not only early learning and childcare, but being able to make a positive and lasting difference in a child’s life, is my true calling!
