Bayview Glen is a member of the CIS, CAIS and Round Square organizations. ________________________________________ Bayview Glen is currently looking for a Preschool Relief Teacher for the 2019/202... School year. This position will be responsible for implementing and supporting a program to teach young children aged two and three years of age. The Preschool Relief Teacher will work in various classrooms throughout the day, providing coverage for teachers during scheduled break periods. Hours of work will be from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. The ideal candidate is someone dedicated to the development of the whole child, with a passion for teaching within this age group Qualifications & Skills: Registered Early Childhood Educator (R.E.C.E.) University degree or College Diploma in Early Childhood Development or equivalent Valid child and infant First Aid/CPR certification Up to date Immunization and TB results A current Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to adjust style to communicate to different audiences (i.e., children, parents, staff, etc.) Demonstrated creativity, flexibility and problem-solving abilities Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
