Early Childhood Educator in Toronto, Ontario

I babysat a little boy for 30 hours a week between the ages of 6 months to 2 years until I moved away for school. I also spent a good portion of time in my teens responsible for watching my brother, who has autism and is very low functioning. My brother is two years older than me and has autism, so I have spent my entire life helping to care for him and watching others do the same. I also spent many of my school years as a peer tutor, working one on one with students with developmental or learning disabilities. I was also a volunteer coach for a special needs hockey team for several years, mainly responsible for helping the youngest players with new skills and helping the players with social skills with family, coaches, and other players, especially during out of town tournaments.
