Hello, my name is Kayla Woudstra and I am a graduate of the Sheridan College Two year Early Childhood Education Program.
I became an Early Childhood Educator for a very simple reason - I want to make a difference. While there are many fields in which I could accomplish this goal, I feel that RECE is that one in which I can have the greatest impact. As an RECE, I feel that providing a positive environment for all is a key factor in the child’s development.
Being an Early Childhood Educator requires patience, understanding, compassion, and enthusiasm - all things in which I believe I provide on a daily basis.
