Early Childhood Educator Job in Toronto, Ontario

School based non profit Child Centre located in the Yonge/Lawrence Ave neighbourhood currently operating 10 months per year from September to end of June is looking for an experienced RECE or ECA to work in an after school program with kindergarten children effective September 2019. Candidates who are nearly finished their ECE program may also apply. The initial job is for half days 2:30 to 6:00 PM with further frequent opportunities to pick up extra hours as a replacement for absent staff who work mornings and early afternoons with preschool children as well as routinely working 8 hour shifts on PA Days and March Break. Staff must have up to date medical first aid/cpr, clear vulnerable sector police check that is no older than 6 months and a strong familiarity with the City of Toronto's Assessment for Quality Improvement.
