Early Childhood Educator in Brampton, Ontario

Hello lovely people, my name is Mbula Mbikay, most people call me and refer by my other name; Angel. I am looking to seek working in the early childcare field. I graduated from George brown college in both the early assistant and early childhood educator program last year june 2017. I can build bonds and relations that blends towards children and families. I am an older sibling of 5 children, always had the qualities and passion in being a caregiver. I love music, sports, art, writing, reading, especially programing and learning fun new things within the childcare field. My other hobbies includes my love for sports. I played 5 years varsity for the George brown college women's basketball team. I was captain for 3 years; demonstrated leadership roles and teammates looked up to me. I treated everyone with respect and love for the game. I recieved awards such as mvp, player of the weeks and the all time leading scorer. After graduating from college I got signed as an assistant coach for the George brown college women's basketball program. My first experience as a coach I really like it, from transitioning from a player to coach, nothings better than teaching to younger youths that show passion and want to learn. My childcare experiences in the field i have done were placements provided by the college; showing up the 4 days of the week and improvised as ece staff, worked in summer camps for 10 years as camp councillor of large group sums of children, home babysitting experiences. I am a person who is always up for new tasks and getting to meet new people.
