Early Childhood Educator in Calgary, Alberta

My name is Abby and I am passionate about early literacy, and early mathematics. I am looking for a position where I can gain knowledge and experience in the field of Early Childhood Education and Childcare. I currently have Level 1 Certification (Child Development Assistant) from Alberta Human Services. I have experience in working with learners with complex needs, and 2 years of experience in group facilitation for community-based arts and crafts groups, as well as parenting programs. I currently volunteer and have experience in working with children with special needs, and am looking for a position as a Child Development Assistant. I am currently taking the Bachelor of Education after-degree program at the University of Calgary to pursue a career in teaching. I will graduate my program in April 2021, and I am interested in attaining higher levels of certification upon receiving my degree to further my passion in early childhood education.
