Early Childhood Educator Job in St. Catharines, Ontario

Toks Christian Daycare has openings for energetic, creative, and dynamic Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECE). We are looking to resume operation this spring in our brand new facility and we are building a team of passionate educators to provide outstanding child care service in the region of Niagara. We are a Christian daycare center, there for our emergent play based curricula are implemented within a Christian faith frame work as we foster Christian values like love, peace, integrity, honesty, unity, respect and responsibility. The candidates will be responsible but not limited to: • Weekly indoor and Outdoor programming • Ensuring the health and safety off all children in their care • Diaper/toileting duties • Following all of the daycare policies and procedures • Communicating daily with parents and other co-workers in a friendly and kind manner • Working cooperatively with all team members to ensure an enriching and safe school for children • Planning and delivering a developmentally appropriate curriculum for ALL children in the classroom • Providing clear and transparent communications with all levels of the childcare including school staff, families/parents, the ministry, community and other agencies. • sensitivity and understanding of diverse cultures, lifestyles and socio-economic backgrounds • Attending regular staff meetings • Strong analytical, organizational time management skills • Candidates must be registered with and in good standing with the College of ECE • Certified in Standard First Aid and CPR training • Clear Police Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening Hours will be 4 to 8hrs rotating from 7:00-6 pm Monday through Friday.
