Early Childhood Educator Job in Carson, California

Child care assistants overall responsibilities will be to oversee the activities of the children and ensure their safety. More specifically some of the duties may include: Helping children with personal hygiene Changing diapers Maintaining cleanliness in activity areas Reading to toddlers and young children Providing mental stimulation to babies and toddlers through games and activities Assisting with with classroom preschool learning curriculum Helping with homework to school age kids Preparing and serving nutritious meals Provide emotional support Transporting school age children to and from school Cleaning and organizing throughout child care facility as required including following sanitizing procedures Meal preparation/serving/ feeding Diaper changing Assisting with classroom curriculum and some classwork prepping such as printing out paperwork preparing arts and crafts, etc Keeping an eye on the children to ensure their safety inside and outside on the playground Assist with putting children down for naptime Wiping down, minor cleanup around the facility Part time Childcare assistant Some sort of professional experience in working with children
