Davar Child Care Society (www.....org) has been providing quality, not for profit services in Calgary and Area since 1982. We are currently recruiting a Family Day Home Child Development Consultant. All of our programs are fully Accredited and Licensed. Start Date: When suitable Team Member is selected; Program Profile: - 6 Family Child Care Consultants; - 7 hours/day 5 days per week - Home Office Space; office equipment / cell phone provided; - Strong approach to Team Development and Support; - Lending library for Providers which includes equipment, resources, learning through play kits; Professional Attributes and Qualifications: - Child Development Supervisor Certificate (formerly Level III); ECE Diploma or equivalent; - Experience in the Alberta Child Care Field an asset; Experience with Accreditation; - Experience as a Family Day Home Consultant (willingness to learn) or Staff Team Leader - Enjoys mentoring and supporting Family Day Home Providers - Knowledge of Child Development 0 - 12 years - Current First Aid / CPR Certificate; CPS / VSS & CWIS; - Class 5 Driver's License along with reliable vehicle; 3 year driver's abstract; - Strong organizational skills, computer skills, (word, excel) - Strong Communication skills, both written and oral - Independence as an employee & team member - Skilled at multi-tasking and time management Position Overview / Responsibilities The Child Development Consultant will - Develop and maintain a caseload of 20 Family Day Home Providers - Approve and monthly monitoring of Family Day Homes Providers - Share in the responsibility of the Main Phone Line; Emergency Cell Phone rotation; - Complete Parent and Family Day Home Provider Intakes / inputting information on Excel - Maintaining Parent and Family Day Home Provider files - Ensuring that all administrative responsibilities are completed in a timely manner Are you interested in supporting approved Family Day Home Providers in being successful and providing excellent quality child care services?
