I also have six years experience of working in the early childhood care and education sector, within mainstream prekindergartens and specialised prekindergartens for children with additional needs. I am a caring, responsible and hardworking individual. I am able to work on my own initiative or as part of a team as I have good interpersonal and communicative skills. In my previous roles I was responsible for providing and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for the children. I planned and implemented developmentaly appropriate lessons around the children's needs and interests. I believe that the quality of education a child recieves in early life is essential in bringing out the child's potential, and that all children should have access to quality learning and care. I have also had the opportunity of teaching children of diverse backgrounds and addiional needs, from working with these children I have developed a keen interest in promoting equality and diversity, I believe children need to be familiar with difference and similarity from an early age.
